Literature Reviews on the Implications of Information Technology

The rapid expansion of information, communications, and computational technologies (IT) has led to many questions about the effects of IT throughout society and the economy. Under contract from the National Science Foundation, SRI International has conducted a series of literature reviews to gather information about existing data and research on the social and economic implications of IT. SRI is pleased to make these available here for use by researchers, analysts, and the public.
