SRI International and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory hosted a Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) Innovation Workshop in 2023 to identify and explore emerging technology breakthroughs that could dramatically accelerate CDR outcomes within the next five to ten years.
This was an invitation-only workshop comprising experts from different disciplines, the purpose of which was to generate a discussion on carbon dioxide removal innovation. The proceedings of this workshop will lead to a report on emerging technologies for carbon dioxide removal for the DOE Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management, who is sponsoring this workshop.
