Deputy Director, Nomura-SRI Innovation Center & Director of Product Management, Center for Innovation Leadership
Pam Deziel is deputy director of the Nomura-SRI Innovation Center and director of product management for SRI International’s Center for Innovation Leadership, where she is responsible for packaging and delivering SRI’s research, development and commercialization best practices to customers worldwide. Deziel is focused on extending SRI’s Five Disciplines of Innovation® (5DOI) programs to help organizations in government, academia, and industry develop and implement processes to encourage, foster, and manage innovation and entrepreneurship and a supporting ecosystem.
Deziel has more than 25 years of product management experience in innovative high-tech companies ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 100. Her expertise is in product, business, and go-to-market strategy and execution, particularly in the software, mobile, and services industries.
Prior to joining SRI, Deziel was vice president of software product management at Motorola Mobility, where she drove cadence, quality and competitiveness for Motorola’s Android products. Earlier, she was vice president of software product management at Palm, responsible for the first release of Palm’s award-winning webOS platform, including operating system software, applications, cloud services and developer ecosystem. She has worked with start-ups in wireless, enterprise and health care segments, contributing expertise in product management, branding, and intellectual property management. She has also held senior product, partner, and corporate strategy positions with Adobe Systems, Apple, and Sun Microsystems.
Deziel holds a B.S. degree in applied earth sciences from Stanford University.
