Charles Mathis

Charles “Charlie” Mathis has more than 40 years’ of experience in finance and accounting, mergers and acquisitions, financial controls, and U.S. government contracting and DCAA compliance with both public and private companies, mostly serving the U.S. Government.

Before his retirement, he held Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer roles at SAIC, Amentum, ScanSource, and Force Protection. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and as Audit Committee Chair of ScanSource, Inc., (Nasdaq: SCSC) a multi-billion-dollar hybrid IT and cloud distributor. Mathis graduated with a BA from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He also served three years as an Infantry Officer in the United States Marine Corps. In 2019, Mathis created the BRITE Kids Foundation to support IT education in rural areas.
