Claire Lecornu is a Senior Research Analyst at SRI’s Center for Innovation Strategy and Policy. She has several years of experience working at the intersection of science, data and government. At SRI, Lecornu has analyzed administrative data and supported the dissemination of science and engineering indicators for the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics. She conducts evaluations and develops monitoring plans for programs at federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy. Lecornu’s work has also supported state, local and international clients through projects such as the development of a strategic plan for New Mexico’s Economic Development Department, facilitation of workshops about microelectronics for Arizona State University and support for a Japanese regional bank through the Nomura-SRI Innovation Center. Prior to joining SRI, Lecornu worked for the Partnership for Public Service where she supported federal clients through data analysis, stakeholder interviews and qualitative research. She has a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas LBJ School and a B.A. in Mathematics and Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law (PPEL) from the University of Richmond.
