David Lyzenga

Senior Research Engineer, Ocean Modeling

David Lyzenga, Ph.D., is interested in radar measurements of ocean waves, currents, and other near-surface processes.

He started his career at the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan (ERIM) and currently has a joint appointment with SRI International and as a Research Scientist at the University of Michigan, Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.

Lyzenga has published more than 90 papers. His Ph.D. is in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan.
