Mary McCracken

Senior Scientific Programmer/Analyst, SRI Education

Mary McCracken is lead scientific programmer and analyst for the Center for IDEA Early Childhood Data Systems (DaSY), which is funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education. She also provides programming support on the evaluation of Chicago’s Special Impact Bond Child-Parent Center, the Study of District and School Uses of Federal Education Funds, and California Arts Education study.

On previous SRI projects, McCracken was the lead programmer on both the Special Education Elementary Longitudinal Study (SEELS) and the National Longitudinal Transition Study-2 (NLTS2), which provided national population estimates for many of the key questions related to programs and outcomes for students who receive special education services.

Before joining SRI, McCracken was a programmer for major insurance and banking institutions.

She holds a BA in music business and a minor in humanities from San Jose State University.
