William Mark
Senior Technology Advisor, Commercialization
William Mark is a Senior Technology Advisor, focusing on commercializing SRI technology and developing strategies for using generative AI to improve SRI’s productivity. He previously led SRI’s Information and Computing Sciences Division. Prior to joining SRI, Mark headed the System Technology Group at National Semiconductor, focused on system-level design and implementation of the silicon-based systems of the future.
Mark was formerly director of Information and Computing Sciences for the Lockheed Martin Palo Alto Research Laboratories. Before joining Lockheed, he was a co-founder of Savoir, a company developing software tools for flexible manufacturing, and held positions at the University of Southern California Information Sciences Institute and the General Motors Research Laboratories.
